The core training philosophy during this phase centered on “Global Standards, Khmer Identity.” The curriculum was modernized to train staff in high-level hospitality skills and deep guest psychology, catering perfectly to international travelers seeking slow travel and long-term stays (Slow Travel & Deep Immersion). Stay Nature has clearly demonstrated that it is not merely a workplace, but a premier incubator developing high-caliber human resources in hospitality for the nation.

Growth & Milestones: According to the latest data, the company has experienced remarkable growth, expanding its portfolio with renowned hotel brands such as The Tree and The Forest. The crowning achievement of Generation 5 was building unwavering trust with international travel partners and maintaining an exceptionally low booking cancellation rate. To support this expanding ecosystem, the training framework was upgraded to champion “Cross-Training and Agility.” Trainees were strategically rotated across different concepts within the group, allowing them to grasp distinct operational styles and acquire a diverse, versatile skill set unmatched by traditional single-concept hotel environments.

Growth & Milestones: The milestones of Generation 4 included a substantial surge in room inventory, alongside the introduction of comprehensive spa and wellness services, organic dining concepts, and family-focused experiences. Trainees from this generation successfully scaled into middle and upper management positions across the group. Navigating a large, diverse property network catalyzed immense growth in soft skills, such as advanced problem-solving, operational logistics, and team leadership, making Generation 4 a benchmark for leadership development.

Growth & Milestones: This era marked a brilliant phase of physical and conceptual growth, highlighted by the development of unique properties like The Nature, which featured tranquil designs seamlessly integrated into natural landscapes and innovative freshwater pools. The core training philosophy for Generation 2 evolved into creating “Cultural Ambassadors.” Trainees did not just learn technical service mechanics; they were trained to actively curate local cultural experiences for guests, such as traditional lotus folding, Khmer culinary arts, and localized historical storytelling. Stay Nature solidified its reputation as an inclusive platform offering equal opportunities for youth from diverse provinces to develop technical proficiency, soft skills, and foreign language capabilities.

Properties expanded their physical footprints and refined their service catalogs. History & Philosophy: Established in 2018, Stay Nature Hotel Group emerged as a pioneering Cambodian hospitality brand committed to sustainable luxury and authentic community connection. At its inception, the leadership recognized a critical gap in the Cambodian hospitality industry: the need for a powerhouse of human resources equipped with both theoretical knowledge and intense, hands-on field experience. To address this, the first training and recruitment program—dubbed “Generation 1″—was officially launched. Generation 1 was never designed to be a standard employment drive. Instead, it was an innovative corporate philosophy that transformed our boutique properties into living, breathing training academics. Young, passionate Cambodians were recruited and mentored directly by hospitality veterans, learning the building blocks of premium guest services, eco-conscious operations, and cultural stewardship from the ground up.

Growth & Milestones: The growth of Generation 1 centered heavily on building robust internal training modules and cultivating an unshakeable team spirit. Facing the natural hurdles of a fresh brand, Stay Nature succeeded in embedding its three core pillars—Nature, Culture, and Community—into every trainee. The Generation 1 cohort eventually became the backbone of the group’s initial operations, designing and testing the operational service standards required to serve international travelers. The program proved that a hotel could double as a university, effectively transforming raw talent with zero background in hospitality into highly capable service professionals.
